Brewed using 65% wheat malt and 35% barley malt. This filtered wheat beer is light blonde in color, light bodied and has a wonderfully clean finish. This is a great choice for craft brew novices and beer aficionados alike.

Clear golden coloured body with a light white head, about three centimetres at first that fades down quite nicely. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus, grasses, hay and some hop pellets. Light-bodied; Grassy flavours at first with a dose of fresh malt and hops, a hint of artificial sugars and a dose of grain noticeable right behind. Aftertaste shows more of a funky malt with cardboard than anything else, but some fake sugars are also around. Overall, a decent beer that shows some very light flavours, but nothing too exciting and definitely not in the same class as other kristalweizens are. I feel like this beer is more like the beers of the East here, instead of a beer from California from one of the bigger breweries. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from City’Super in One IFC in Central, Hong Kong on 29-July-2017 for a marked down price of HK$22,00 sampled in my hotel room here in Admiralty, Hong Kong on 01-August-2017, marking this the first time I’ve ever seen this beer, which is halfway on the other side of the world from home and the U.S.

From bottles at Total Wine in Elk Grove, it is a clean wheat beer with a nice but somewhat weak aroma and muted malty flavors. No defects but somewhat flavorless and boring, even for ABV 4.8%.

12oz bottle picked up at Total Wine in Reno
Pours clear light golden with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Aroma of wheat, hay and grains. Flavor of grains, bisquity, grassy and citrus zest

A refined and clean wheat brew. Light sweet corn and some hay. Crisp, clean, light, and finishes refreshingly dry.

Bottle, from old notes. Bright clear golden with a great lacy white head. Grassy, grainy, and earthy aroma. Flavor same, balanced, light but pleasant, quite clean. Lighter bodied with good carbonation. Not interesting but good for what it is.

Definitely a top 3 from Sierra Nevada. Perfect for a nice sunny day. Delightful.

Bottle from Sierra Nevada brewery. Clear, pale golden color, white head. Slightly sweet aroma with malts, wheat bread and grassy hops. Spicy hop flavor with fruity notes and white toast. Lemony finish. Medium-light body, medium carbonation. Maybe not worth carrying halfway across the world, but a decent beer.

A pretty simple beer. The flavor is light but not that wheaty. A very light beer.

Light beer great for hot days, but also does well with food. A go-to refreshing beer.
