A really good beer, though not my personal taste. Very fruity and spicy with high quantity of oaky tannins. Sweet. Hard for me to drink more than a snifter, but good on those terms. I don’t really love quads but this one is quite good. Drake (13739) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 13, 2013

Dark brown with a beige head. Lots of aromas of brown sugar and dried fruit with oak coming through as well. I much prefer this brew to the regular version. Just so much more complex and interesting. I wish they sold this in bottles I’d be interested to see how it matures. As far as I know, this brew is only available on tap. Great beer. podey (638) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Poured draught at Gingerman NYC. Pours dark, dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is of caramalized sugar and dark fruit and malt. Taste is carmalized sugar as well with a little vanilla and booziness but very smooth and balanced. I really enjoyed this. reberiii (498) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Poured from bottle. Deep, dark reddish pour. Boozy, but nicely so. Caramelly, almost syrup but not syrup sweet. Almond finish.
