Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Intramontabile. Per una bevuta solida di malti. Aspetto motlo bella, bella schiuma, ma poi è malti e finale non troppo grasso. Crosta di pane.

I can’t believe I’ve never rated this beer before. Tried it for the first time in 2007. Well balanced, it has a nice pine and lemon bite, bread body. Pretty tasty.

Clear golden orange pour. Aroma of malts, fruity hops and honey. Taste follows the nose. Body is medium. Not overly complex but this beer never lets me down. I guess you never forget your first love.

Another one of those that I should have rated a long time ago. Pours a clear amber with a full white head. The aroma is a good mix of hops and malt. Its grassy, with caramel, pine, grapefruit, and slight cereal. The taste is mildly bitter. The flavors are a lot of what the nose presented. Grassy hops, caramel, and pine are bigger, and bread, honey, and pineapple are undertones. Grassy, piney aftertaste. Light in body and with a slick texture. This one is your solid, middle of the road APA. You can do better, and you can do far worse.

sorry, I should never have tried this one, way too much hops.......... It would be nice for USA crafties breweries to consider there are more ingredients to go in beer than hops and spices. they dont seem to have understood that point yet.

From Nov 2007 This one has escaped my review radar for long enough! ;^) It pours from 12oz bottle a slightly hazy gold with a good 2 finger head of foam from the initial pour and it stays for the entire session as a solid 1" layer. Good lacing to be had here as well. The smell is hop dominant to the nose but it's fairly light. The taste is hoppy with a mild bitterness of grapefruit and a touch of grass. I can just taste some malt, especially when I swish the beer in my mouth, but it's just there to cut through the hops a bit...not really to balance it as hop is king in this very tasty APA that I've enjoyed for many many years. This was actually one of my main gateway beers bridging the past of light tasting, oh so similar tasting brews to the present, where you can pretty much sample flavours all over the spectrum. And....after all these years, it does more than hold its own. This is a *classic* and rightfully so. The mouthfeel is medium as is the carbonation and it finishes dry and has a nice bitter aftertaste that lingers on for some time. *Still* one of my favourites of the style and one I frequent often. It is that good.

Jasno-bursztynowe, klarowne piwo. Piana biała, drobna, jest jej mało, zostaje na powierzchni i obręczy. W zapachu słodowo i chmielowo. W smaku słodowa podstawa się wybija i w miarę upływu czasu kontrują ją chmiele. Wysycenie wysokie, goryczka niska, posmak słodowy, lekko chmielowy.

This is a beer you can't go wrong with (assuming you like pale ales). It has just the right amoung of hoppiness to give the flavor you want without overpowering. Most bars carry this it seems, and I find myself ordering it fairly often

Bottle. A very nice and pleasant pale ale. Bitter but not too much. Nice and smooth.

Very nice consistent pale ale Not lots of hops but well balanced with good malt. Bisquity breads flavor with just the right bitterness to balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
