i’m really glad i got this for xmas cause i was considering paying $10 a bottle for it to fly it in from perth which would have been dumb. anyway this is nowhere near as good as LCPA. paler than expected - clear yellow orange, fairly high carbo. big cascade aroma, obvious but good - fresh and flowery. surprisingly light body, slightly bready malt, but seriously underweight, verging on thin. slightly chalky, round mouthfeel. at the end you have this lingering, white-noise bitterness that goes nowhere and doesn’t have much to do with the rest of the beer. honestly, glorious aroma aside, this has more in common with reschs or something than what I think of as a good APA.

for a standard pale ale, this really is better than average. another sixer down the Kohler this week, and what better american macromicro to do it with than this one. take some to a party and people think you’re savvy, yet you’ve not gone over their heads with something they can’t appreciate and cost you a fortune.

Pours a nice deep orangish amber. Aromas of grapefruit, roast malts, and a hint of fruit. Flavor is nice and hoppy with a spicy finish.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of foamy fine to large sized long lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained average carbonation, was transparent and light brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of malty hoppy caramel mild . Its mouth feel is initially tingly with a lingering tingly palate and a medium mildly vinous hoppy crisp aftertaste. Its flavor contained a mild amount of caramel vinous hoppy notes and was tasty. An above average brew. This is a good ol stand by brew to drink at the bars in my area.

Beautiful clear amber color with great lasting head. Fruity but bitter....

A hoppy beer with nice color and a mild bitter aftertaste. Carbonation was average and the longevity of the head didn’t last long. A good Pale Ale but not my favorite.

As a change of pace for a hoppy beer, I’d pick this when available. Nice color, mild aroma, not as bitter as similar beers and finishes rather well. It’d be curious to try this on draft to note some differences.

A good session beer. Citrus aroma. Smooth drinking, although it could be better balanced. Middle of the road pale ale.

12oz bottle pours amber with a fluffy offwhite head. Aroma is pure grapefruit and pine. Nice hoppy and delicious. Flavor is mostly dominated by those same hops but balanced nicely with caramel malts. Palate is smooth airy and quite drinkable. Medium bodied. Tasty.. and a great session brew.

I have to give this a good rating based soley on its wonderful drinkability. There are no qualms about buying a sixer, or cracking a fresh one. With a nice aroma hints of pine and plenty of hop this is a beer to be shared.
