Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

This is now in heavy distribution in Texas/New Mexico market. I love this beer. Bottle or tap (cared for tap is better). Creamy taste surrounds your tongue and skunky (in a good way) smell complemnts your palate in every sip. Dont gun this stuff like a Rolling Rock, but dont let it sit in your mouth too long. Drink it like water when youve got a dry throat. Cant say enough about this affordable yet spectacular micro form California.

This is my "Go to" beer when in CA. Amber color with medium creamy head. A great West Coast Pale. Hoppy, citrus, pine. A balanced brew, nice malt and just enough bitterness. Solid

Bottled. Pours a fairly clear copperish amber with a medium white head that leaves some decent lacing. Aroma is pure Cascades and sweet crystal malt squeezing its way through. Flavor starts malty sweet (sometimes I get a bit of diacetyl) with some breadiness and with an excellent bouquet of citrussy/floral hop flavor and just the right amount of bitterness. Finishes quite dry. Mouthfeel, while not full, its perfect for an easy drinking APA. A stand by beer for me given its availability and freshness.

after reading the commercial description about the generous use of Cascade hops, I was surprised by the mild flavor. the overall impression was that this was unbalanced by being a little short on the malt side. in looking for a crossover beer for some swill drinking friends, this wont do it.

Amber in colour, with a small dissapating white head. Solid aroma of grapefruit. Taste is a little unbalanced, with more grapefruit coming through and a heavy bitterness. Minimal evidence of malty flavours, but a nice spicyness. A pretty tasty beer. Not bad

A mainstay in the fridge, can buy almost anywhere and loves to be drank in quantity. Everyone has had this, so I will just say that it gets my official seal of dank beer approval.

Another of my standard go-to brews. Inspiration for my venture into homebrewing. Great summer session beer. Its very basic but very well made, and fantastically refreshing and infiinitely satisfying/quenching.

Its the beer that got me into brewing and craft beers. Between the lots at dead shows in the 90s and living in SC/NC (states with less than 6% ABV caps) it was always easy to find and very enjoyable. I always seem to have a SNPA in my beer fridge. Its THE gateway to craft beer world.

Despite being bottle conditioned, this beer poured a beautiful clear amber color with a small white rocky head. Unfortunately the head completely disappeared in a short time leaving no lacing. The aroma had a nice balance of malt and hops. There were hints of bread, and grass. It had a medium body with an oily texture and lively carbonation. The finish was bitter, almost astringent and long lasting. The flavors too were nicely balanced between malt sweetness and hop bitterness. There were hints of grapefruit and resin in the middle as well.

This is one of my favorite fall-back session brews. It pours a slightly hazed medium-bodied copper color and presents a good head that sticks around nicely. The taste is good and a bit hoppy, especially for an APA. This beer tastes like it has very good quality water. It is very clean, crisp and refreshing... I love the bottle design too for some reason!
