Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

sadly this beer used to be one of my favorites. until i started drinking more beer. that said it is still one of the best more mainstream beers around. great starter beer. not as hoppy or full bodied as some of the better ones but definitely your best choice in most bars and clubs.

This a very unimpressive pale ale that is all too often drank by people trying to drink good beer.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2006 Pours to a golden copper colored body with a thin oily white head. The aroma is bready and light citrus. A touch too weak. The flavor is malty, breads, floral, and citrus hops. Mostly malty with a spicy hop kick. The palate is medium bodied with a light creaminess and carbonation. 3.3 total.
resampled at my companys quarterly meeting on Jan 19th. The flavor was much nicer this time around. Palate too. Much better this time around.

A great American Pale Ale. One of the best readily available around the country. I can buy it at the local Publix grocery chain. Great aroma and flavor. Crisp clean taste with lots of hops and hints of fruit.

Amazing for a bottled beer. Its better on tap like most everything...but hardly. Easily the best Pale Ale thats readily available anywhere, and possibly the best one on the planet. Sierra Nevada cant be beat. Perfect weight, not to thin or thick. The color is kinda ugly...but thats not so important in the longrun.

pours amber color decent sized off-white head aroma of hops, malt, & sweetness, good clean taste, very smooth, a tiny amount of hops in the taste, drinkable.

Hands down the best pale ale that is available nationwide. This beer is a great experience to drink. While it is a nice beer that is full of flavor, its not too filling to enjoy with a meal or with other drinks.

Slightly cloudy amber color with a tinge of orange. Fizzy medium head. Aroma was floral hops and spicy citrus. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Flavor is the same as the nose but with the hops bitterness making itself known, especially in the finish. Very good even if you do prefer darker beers.
