Fruity aroma. Golden liquid with almost white head, stays. Taste is hops, malt. Aftertaste is grapefruit and hops. Almost no sweetness, medium bitterness. Good beer, easily drinkable.

Gangstergafje (1094) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - APR 3, 2017
The looks of the beer are quite nice. The color of the beer is a nice deep amber. The beer has some cloudiness, but Iíve seen cloudier beers. On top of the veer a crisp layer of rough white foam is formed. The majority of the foam collapses rather quickly, but a nice drape still remains on top of the beer. The beer sure smells nice. The first things I smell are malts and hops. The maltiness is quite high. I smell some nice clear malts and some more almost biscuits touches. Besides this are the lovely American hops. I smell aromaís of pine and some grassy aromaís. No real citrus aromaís are present. Hops and malts are in good balance. The taste of the beer is also well balanced. The beer isnít as bitter as some APAís can be. There is a mild biter hop flavour, that pairs well with and balances the malt flavours. The hops also give a nice freshness. The palate is good. Medium body, rather thin texture and high carbonation. The finish contains some hops and a nice alcohol touch. The finish is quite long. It ends in a rather dry sensation to the tongue. Not bad.

the aroma is fruity and hoppy with hints of orange, pine, grapefruit, resin and spicy herbs... the taste is well-balanced, fruity and malty, with notes of swet orange, pine needles, grapefruit, key lime, resin and spicy grasses... the aftertaste is bitter and dry...

Marstonlad (876) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 25, 2017
Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Pours cloudy golden with a medium-sized, dense and frothy head. The aroma displays solid citrusy and floral hoppiness with pale, grainy maltiness in the background. Taste is built on a combination of pale maltiness and solid citrusy hoppiness; fresh, crisp citrus fruitiness rises to the fore. Bitterness is about medium, strong enough also for hopheads but weak enough to be drinkable for everyone. The palate is light to medium bodied, smooth, average in carbonation. Benchmark for all APAs.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2017 Iím impressed. Iíll be honest, I was expecting it to be great, but the balance between Hops and malt make it so pleasant. Itís awesome.

voyageurmike (424) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 20, 2017

Pours a golden color with a nice head. Aroma of slight malt with hoppy overtones. A nice crisp taste with the perfect hop complement for an American pale ale. I have enjoyed this beer for many years and keep returning to it. This is the finest American pale ale I have ever had. I just wish the clone I brew tasted as good.

kermis (12869) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 14, 2017
Bottle at Brasshouse, Bournemouth. Hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, fruity hops and citrus. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.
