Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Pine, bitter citrus fruits, bitter orange, orange peel, grain and bread malts, Clear, dark gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More bitter citrus fruits, orange, marmalade, pine, bread malts, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Great APA, rich and well-balanced, surprised to notice I’d never rated this before. Bottle at BA Lounge, Newark.

Pohodová APA z pivovaru Sierra Nevada. Jemné ovocné aroma, hořká, ale přitom nasládlá chuť a hustá pěna.

Bottle at home. Pours a golden/orange, slightly darkened hue with a white head. Oranges, grapefruit, sweet malts. Very classic, typical pale ale, well executed.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber in color with small white head. Aroma is hops and citrus.Taste starts with a bit of sweet and sour, and comes after a bit of bitterness and lingering finish.Light to medium body. Have a good balance.

16floz can, COD: 06.29.2017, $1.50 single, imperial glass. Past experiences goes 15ish years on draft and bottle. Looks like the ideal APA; golden-amber in color and beige head that has some big bubbles and clings to the glass. The aroma of this beer is reminiscent of when American brewers would attempt balance the hop and malt characteristics (caramel and hard sugary candy). This will always be my standard bearer for a good stylistically APA, body is medium and firm with piney-caramel palate. Very versatile ale too.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2017 Tap @ The Beer Temple, Amsterdam.
