Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

This is an excellent pale ale. It is light golden in color, with a medium head. The excellent hops are well balanced with the malt, and the finish is refreshing and clean. Overall, this is a great pale ale.

Bottle. Golden color. Aroma of bitter grassy hop, malt and yeast. Taste has grainy malt, crispy hop, mild piney citrus and some grassy note. Solid.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with white head. Herbal, earthy, hoppy aromas with notes of maltiness in background. Earthy, herbal, grassy flavors with a malty backbone. Classic pale ale.

(Sierra Nevada Pale Ale) Bottle 355ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 5.6% Deep orange colour on the body, crystal clear, with a small and thin white head on top, average retention. The aroma has light caramel malts and faint fruity notes. Taste on the other hand is more intense, still caramel malts, light citrus, tropical fruits. Medium thin body, carbonation on the high side. Pretty good.

aroma of pine, lemon and orange. taste follows, with a slight earthy character and some caramel. appearance is a golden orange with some yeast in suspension, without being cloudy. palate is thin with a lightly bitter aftertaste. Overall- A classic beer that holds up to modern craft. Accessible without sacrificing flavour.

12-ounce bottles in a pint glass. Not so much a pale ale as an India Pale Ale. However, with as overly hopped as many of their beers are, I guess compared to them this one wouldnt be quite so bitter.

Truly dont like this. Cascade is hideous, lager/epa like hop. I only drink beer for these new fandangled fruity new world hops, not boring English tasting floral spicey rubbish. But at least Ive narrowed down that filthy hop at last, this is why ratebeer is such a good idea.

Dammit. I thought Id be the first to review this... Ok, lets assume this is my 9 millionth so I best actually do this. Caramel, soft sweet orange, toasted malts, bit o pine, honey aroma. Mellow yet obvious bitterness. Bready malts with the caramel being minor, orange, pine, more citrus, the underbelly of faint spice. Finishes clear. Yumtime.

11/20 not spectacular but a decent pub/supermarket option. Piney taste, mild bitterness, easy to drink but not enough flavour for me ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
