"Really dug this one. Just the right amoun tof funk and fruit on the nose. A little barnyard flavor...musty, but light and refreshing despite the relatively high abv. Fruit comes through just enough to notice. I could drink this all day." Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - MAR 9, 2012
Growler. Rating #7. Hazy golden pour with a decent white head. Fruity aroma, slight tartness. Dry, more fruit and a little spice. (2222) DYCSoccer17 (3714) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 4, 2012
5 ounce sample at Rubicon in Sacramento. Light, faint, sweet aroma with mild banana esters. Not too much else present in this pedestrian nose. Murky, muddy hazy pale golden body with a small, weak, white head, Starts sweet and kind of fruity. Almost apple-like...acetaldehyde? Lightly medicinal. This is followed by some band-aid and burnt rubber. Light fruity sweet esters late. Not a good experiment. thetmaxx (927) - West Sacramento, California, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Tap at Rubicon fur beer week. I don’t know what a persimmon tastes like, but this beer is fruity. Along the line of a saison. Good. bhensonb (15969) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 25, 2012

A Sim rate (Extreme Beer Festival, Boston): Bitter, wheaty and slightly sweet. Can’t really taste the persimmon, but it’s ok.
