12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a dark brown color - its probably the lightest porter Ive seen in a while. Theres a creamy one-finger head with an off-white shade. Fluffy and thick, it has decent retention and leaves behind good lacing on the glass. S: The aroma is primarily nutty and lightly roasted, with a subtle backing of piny hops. Though theyre a bit lighter than Id like, there are chocolate and coffee notes on the nose. Theres even some brown sugar and caramel buried beneath it all. This is a surprisingly deep aroma. T: Its opening flavor is hoppy and very typically Sierra Nevada (read: Cascade). The excellent finish helps to calm down some of the hop bitterness, supplanting it with decent notes of roasted nuts and chocolate. The robustness is balanced nicely within the sweetness, even if the portery qualities are a bit downplayed. M: This beer is almost as crisp as SNPA, with an upsurge of sweetness to help iron out any overt finishing bitterness. While the body is somewhat thin, its so drinkable I dont really care. Its well carbonated, too. O: Delicious. Its not as rich as some porters Ive had - rather, the easy drinking nature is what gives it its wings. This could make a reliable go-to beer when nothing else is available.

Dark brown with creamy beige head. Nose is round with cane sugar and some maltiness. Taste is bready and with malts. Accompanied by some aciduous freshness like cocoa bean. Palate is short but still good for the low ABV.

En positiv overraskelse. En god og fyldig porter. Fin smag af ristet malt. Tilpas bitter.

Bottle. Clear brown beer, average tan head, nice lacing. Aroma of cocoa, caramel, mild coffee and milk chocolate. Taste is light to medium sweet and bitter, cocoa, caramel, bread, mild coffee, rather lasting bitterness. Medium- body, thin texture, average carbonation. Decent, ordinary stuff.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is milk chocolate, roasted malt, mild coffee, caramel, cocoa, hazelnuts. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Not as creamy as Id like, that being said the cocoa chocolate aroma is very pleasant and this has an easy drinking smooth balance. Good Porter!

Sampled from 0.355 l bottle. Clear, very dark red to brown with a frothy, beige head. Sweetish, quite roasty-malty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and hints of hazelnut. Moderately sweet, quite roasty-malty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and hazelnut, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter, very dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty!
