UPDATED: APR 14, 2012 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Not mind blowing but good nonetheless. Probably prefer celerbration over this one. Very sessionable with earthy, spiced flavours and a finish of grapefruit and sweet pineapple. Nice beer. SN don’t do much wrong Deeptide (1) - - MAR 8, 2012 does not count

12 oz bottle from New Seasons - Clear brown with a nice white head. Sweet smelling, but not too sweet on the flavor. Citrusy, grapefruit hops aroma. Mild bitterness on the back of the tongue. Excellent beer. Cole (967) - , Alberta, CANADA - MAR 8, 2012
Pours dark brown with a thin white head. Aroma is very citrus. The flavour is very nice lots of grapefruit. A cool bitterness and a very rich mouth feel. Very drinkable. An excellent RIPA. AWMiller (512) - Mansfield, Texas, USA - MAR 8, 2012
absolutely divine! I’m sure that this one will fast become a go-to in my fridge when I can find it and stock up!

12 oz bottle Pours a clear dark copper body with a frothy large off-white head. The aroma is pretty great, hard to tell where the rye ends and the citrusy hops begin. Bright and intense without a heavy malt influence. The flavor is similar, the spiciness from the rye and the piney bitteness really meld well over the sturdy backbone. Another winner seasonal from SN. I hope they continue to release these new takes on their signature style. Medium bodied with a nice resiny stickiness on the finish. I hope this isn’t a one time release. oobawa (1867) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 8, 2012
I didn’t mind Glissade, but if kicking it to the curb means we get Ruthless Rye from now on, them right on. This beer is absolutely delicious, one of the best releases from the sudden flood of new Sierra Nevada creations that have hit the market in the past couple years. Ruthless Rye has a nose that begs you to slam the pint, citrussy and pungent with a noticeable swipe of rye. Tastes pretty dang good; starts bright and citric and mildly sweet before a tangy, spicy rye note carries the beer into a hoppy, dry, classic IPA finish. Wicked label design too. daalamar (405) - new albany, Indiana, USA - MAR 8, 2012
ok I know this rating seems strange. Here goes.... Has a nice clear dark straw color with a nice white head. lots of hops on the aroma and front of taste. follows through smooth, overall is a wonderful drinking beer. here is the problem........ I have had this beer a half dozen times now and every time it has caused a severe headache. the first few times I thought it was because of overindulgence, but the last few times even in moderation had the same results. so in the end its a wonderful tasting beer with awful sideeffects.. mnurda (1305) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 8, 2012

Bottled. Brown to amber pour. Quite a bit of head. Strong hop and floral aroma. Taste is same with rye notes.
