We love hops with a bright, citrus-heavy character. The result is this new take on the hoppy pale ale brewed with Cascade, Equinox, and Mandarina hops with a hint of orange peel from additions in both the brew kettle and the fermenter.

bottle, rated in May 2017 - Pours deep gold. Aroma is oranges and some light malt under there. Flavor is lightly bitter with caramel malt sweetness. It's an easy going pale ale with some good orange flavors. Okay.

Pours pale golden with some cakey head. Hoppy aroma, citrus and orange dominate. Like a Sierra Nevada pale ale with sweet 50/50 orange popsicle mixed in. I guess in the summertime this would be a hit, but I wonder if it's not just an attempt to cater to a wider audience, since it's a milder and sweeter version of the classic pale ale. Good malty body, mild to no bitterness. I'm probably too diehard about the original pale ale, but it's so much better than this. Anyways, it works and Im sure a 12 pack of this would vanish at a bbq, but a bit too sweet for my taste.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2017 Pours clear orange/gold with white head that dissipates quickly. mild lacing. smells slightly citrus but not very hoppy. Taste is ok. Has a weird aftertaste. mild citrus. It doesn't have a typical citrus IPA taste

Out of a bottle. Nice dark amber colour with a small creamy head. A hint of orange that’s not over powering. Slightly bitter finish. Easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I was underwhelmed. Nice pour with white head and almost no lacing from the bottle. Hoppy with a slight undertone of citrus in both the aroma and the flavor. Orange was not predominant in any way, the hops covered it up pretty well.

Hoppy, crisp, easy to drink, the orange peel brings a brightness to it. Great marriage of IPA and fruit.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with a fluffy white head that dissipates to a frothy film. Low carbonation. Substantial cling. Aromas of orange peel, tropical fruit and hops. Flavors are orange, cut grass, a bit of tropical fruit and bready notes. Dry, crisp finish. Clean mouthfeel. Not bad.
