From old notes. I wasn’t sure if this was a new listing or not and at the time, it wasn’t on the site. Sampled Nov. 10, 2012 at Monkey Paw. Dark orange pour with a white head. Floral hop nose, light earth, and lots of grass. Biscuit and toasted bread malt aroma. Mild citrus and some pine. The flavor is somewhat sweet, but also fairly bitter. Grass, pine, and floral hop flavors. Sweet biscuit, bread, and toast. A light earthiness and mild citrus. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Tap @ Black Bottle Fort Collins. Pours a clear, burnt orange appearance with an off white head. Potent, green, fruity hoppy, herbal, light caramel aroma. Goopy, a bit syrupy mouth feel. Somewhat citrusy, fruity, herbal, kind of woody flavor. Kind of disappointing and all over the place. Steve_0 (3744) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 28, 2013
On Tap at Denver Winter Brew Fest ’13. Pour is clear straw with a small white head. Grassy, wet dog aroma - biscuit, grass, and citrus. You can definitely tell this is a wet hop ale. Taste is grassy, citrus, light fruit peel, wet dog, straw, and bread with a medium bitter finish. Light body with high carbonation. Meh.
