3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I was suprised how much I liked this beer. Great appearance as a nice black body is toped with a long lasting tan head. Aroama is typically malty, roasty and hints of chocolate. The flavor was nice as well with a good palate, chocolate/coffee taste with a nice hop finish.
Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta, piana trwała, drobnopęcherzykowa. W aromacie delikatne amerykańskie chmiele, paloność, mleczna czekolada i kawa. W smaku najpierw czekolada z kawą, następnie paloność i chmiele.
Pours a black in color with tan head. Nice roasty aroma and taste. Really a classic, well built stout.

Ganske fin. balloonbuffoon (810) - - JAN 30, 2018
12floz bottle, BOD: 10.26.2017, $1.75, nonic glass. Not as common on shelves in my area as it used to be, it has become something of a rotational offering instead. I got a little excited seeing it in a mix-a-six section, and fresh.
Looks like a fine stout, near black with a light tan head. Aroma is tempered roast and suggests sweetness, which is what I taste with a creamy mouthfeel. Medium in body and immensely drinkable. A great stout. snowcrash000 (158) - Cologne, GERMANY - DEC 28, 2017
Pours a reddish deep brown, almost black coloration with a large, creamy head. Smells richly of dark chocolate, coffee and a hint of licorice. Taste follows the nose with a very nice balance of dark chocolate and coffee flavours, complemented by a hint of caramel, licorice and a medium bitterness. Body is just a little bit thin, but smooth and velvety. For a non-imperial stout, this is actually quite nice. An easy-drinking, very solid go-to Stout that lacks the complexity and creamy mouthfeel of its higher ABV brethern.

Pretty good drinking stout. Decently full
Bodied. Some roasted nuttiness. Bit of chocolate. Smooth. DraftDodger (1859) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2017
Copenhagen 5/11 2017. 35,5 cl bottle from Fakta. Sierra Nevadas usual label style with idyllic drawing of what I suppose is the Brewery. Pours opaque dark brown with light beige head. Settles as very thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. A lot of Lacing. Aroma is strong and rich. Coffee, dark chocolate and notes of bitterness lurking in the background. Medium carbonation and thick sticky palate. Flavor is not as intense as promised by the aroma. Medium sweet followed by quite strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter coffee. Fine surpringly bitter stout. sharkydodson (2002) - St. Petersburg, RUSSIA - OCT 27, 2017
the aroma is caramel and chocolate with hints of vanilla, toffee, bisquit, toast and cocoa... the taste is caramel and chocolate with notes of roasted malt, cocoa, vanilla, toffee and brown sugar... sweet, bitter and dry aftertaste...
