Draught at Ginger Man, NYC
Hazy deep blond color. The aroma is a bit fruity and lightly soapy. Sweetish malt flavor, light alcohol feeling. Simple.

Oakes (18543) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 1, 2010
Golden colour with loose, thin head. The aroma is peppery, with light floral and phenol and maybe a herbal accent. Dryish, with some herbal character. Decent - peppery and sweetish but nonetheless a balanced interpretation.

Sampled on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA, labeled "Sierra Nevada Belgian Trippel." Pours a clear pale amber color with a thin creamy head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, spice, bread, banana and plum. Taste is caramel, ripe and unripe banana, citrus, melon and faint spices and leafy hops. Smooth with a medium body.

j12601 (13033) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 5, 2009
On tap for growler fills at Half-Time. Pours a pale straw yellow with a medium sized white head. Light grain and esters on the nose, candy and fruit, fresh plums. Touch sweet and boozy, with some grain. Finishes lightly floral and with a crisp bitterness.

Sammy (12610) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 22, 2010
Draft at Delaney’s. Golden colour with some white head, leaving abundant lace. The carbonation is right there. Sourness in the finish detracts from the enjoyment. Not a great representation of the style, but still drinkable. Alcohol seemed higher in this one.

@Mr Pickwicks VT-on tap-pours a retaining thin white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is mild, dry, yeasty, sweet grain-honey. Taste is dry, yeasty, sweet grain-honey/rock candy, secondary spice hops. Good effervescence. Well done.

hopscotch (11181) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 1, 2009
UPDATED: OCT 19, 2009 Draft… Clear golden ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is sweet, biscuity, sweaty and lightly spicy. Full-bodied and oily with medium carbonation. Very sweet, but it seems there is a frail attempt at balance. Finishes sweet, spicy and lightly acidic.

3.7
DocLock (10970) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 12, 2007
Draft at DRE. Medium gold with minimal white head. Citric, spicy aroma, with hints of coriander. Tastes lively and rather dry, bier de gardish, with floral, spicy, and citric flavors, including lemongrassy yeast, some coriander, and some floral berry notes. Decent complexity.
