1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
My first response after tasting this for the first time was that it was a Budweiser clone. So the next day, I did a side by side tasting of the Budweiser and Summerfest. The difference were so minimal that if someone were to switch these two, I would not be able to tell a difference. The only differences were in the appearance and slight bitterness.
The head on Summerfest stuck around proving that it used malt instead of corn and rice. But the Aromas and Flavors were identical.
This is what I would consider an epic fail on Sierra Nevada’s part. If they were looking for a way to make a more expensive version of Budweiser, then they have succeeded.
Nothing special. No character to speak of.
Sorry, I had to upload these old ratings. They were for me, not for uploading. And also I need 75 characters, hence this sentence.

Summerfest is lighter in body than most Sierra Nevada beers but fits right in as a very refreshing traditional lager. This beer displays significant hop aroma for a Pilsner. As you should expect with a lager it has a smoothness that makes this beer very drinkable on a warm day. lemehmet (2) - - AUG 27, 2017 does not count
An easy beer with an extra refreshing finish. Perfect for summer evenings.

Draft from a bar near the Mission in San Luis Obispo. Easy-drinking pils with light grass and pine hops and some biscuity malt. Decent enough. Poobah (479) - New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - AUG 14, 2017
Clear gold with a white head and a malty nose. Well-carbonated with a medium mouthfeel and a bready, honey-sweet finish.

Deep gold with a decent white head. Fresh hay with some sulphur notes in the aroma. Malty with balancing bitterness. Crisp just as the label says. Light to medium bodied with a moderately bitter finish. Nice summer lager. Bcoble003 (292) - Jblm, Washington, USA - JUL 2, 2017
This is a refreshing beer that isn't to strong. It's slightly sweet and crisp. Glad someone left it at my house for me to try.

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours golden with a white head. The aroma is grain, ripe fruit, and a little skunky. The taste is grain, berry, and slightly bitter hops. It’s pretty crisp and refreshing. This is an okay beer. blues720 (2) - - JUN 24, 2017 does not count
Pours a golden yellow, and a bright, crisp hop flavor. This is a nice summer beer great to drink after yard work, sitting around the patio or with a light summer meal.
