RATINGS: 2054   WEIGHTED AVG: 3.02/5   SEASONAL: Summer   IBU: 28   EST. CALORIES: 150   ABV: 5%
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Nice smooth beer. Darker golden color with very little head and a nice hop/malt aroma with matching flavor.

Pours a golden yellow, and a bright, crisp hop flavor. This is a nice summer beer great to drink after yard work, sitting around the patio or with a light summer meal. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at the Oakford Social Club, Reading. Gold with a thick white head and a moderate fizz. Rather a thin body. Mild lemon and grass flavour diminishes by the end leaving a hint of butter and a moderate bitterness in a lightly dry finish. Didn’t know it was a pils; would have guessed it was a low-grade industrial golden ale.

PugUglyBrewer (617) - - JUN 8, 2017
Pale, clear gold color with no head retention whatsoever. Slightly more hoppy than most craft lagers that don’t define themselves as a hoppy lager. Dry corn and pine all the way.

Pint from tap at the Draper’s arms. Clear and soft pilsner, which doesn’t feel hoppy at all. Refreshing nevertheless

BlackBeerPG (629) - Darien, Illinois, USA - JUN 8, 2017
Taste: Very crisp hop bite, dry, caramel malt, wheat notes. Cracker crisp and dry hopped nose. gold, clear, with a white foam head and ringed lattice. Medium/Lite body.

slight malt, citrusy aromas. gold and clear in color with nice head. balanced flavor profile, light caramel malts as well and citrusy, faint pine hops flavors. clean finish.

Ausgezeichnet.

I feel like am am prejudice against lager beers but this one is really good.
