Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

The beer pours a straw-yellow with a thick, creamy head. I’m glad I decided to dig out the Pilsener glass for this one. Even with an easy pour I had to empty the bottle in stages. The aroma is grainy with faint floral hops. The flavor is light and refreshing, with bitter hops and an ever so slight citrus zestiness. A crisp, bready maltiness keeps everything in balance. The finish is dry and clean.

Deep gold with a decent white head. Fresh hay with some sulphur notes in the aroma. Malty with balancing bitterness. Crisp just as the label says. Light to medium bodied with a moderately bitter finish. Nice summer lager.

This is a refreshing beer that isn't to strong. It's slightly sweet and crisp. Glad someone left it at my house for me to try. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours golden with a white head. The aroma is grain, ripe fruit, and a little skunky. The taste is grain, berry, and slightly bitter hops. It’s pretty crisp and refreshing. This is an okay beer.

Pours a golden yellow, and a bright, crisp hop flavor. This is a nice summer beer great to drink after yard work, sitting around the patio or with a light summer meal. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at the Oakford Social Club, Reading. Gold with a thick white head and a moderate fizz. Rather a thin body. Mild lemon and grass flavour diminishes by the end leaving a hint of butter and a moderate bitterness in a lightly dry finish. Didn’t know it was a pils; would have guessed it was a low-grade industrial golden ale.

Pale, clear gold color with no head retention whatsoever. Slightly more hoppy than most craft lagers that don’t define themselves as a hoppy lager. Dry corn and pine all the way.

Pint from tap at the Draper’s arms. Clear and soft pilsner, which doesn’t feel hoppy at all. Refreshing nevertheless
