COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Did not like this one all all. Way too hoppy/herbal for my tastes...I had to pour the last of it down my kitchen drain.

Pours golden orange with a medium to thick white head, aromas of faint caramel, citrus fruits. Palate nicely balenced

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2012 Pours an orange color with 2 fingers of off white head. Smell was of slight pine and citrus. First thing I noticed when I sipped this was pine flavor. Interesting because east coast IPAs are usually pine tasting, west coast IPAs are usually citrus tasting. This is a west coast IPA and I get more pine from it than citrus. Very hoppy, but not too bitter. Very drinkable. Delicious IPA from one of my favorite breweries.

Orange and white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma and taste. Lots of grapefruits. (Bottle)

Good. Tastes like your average IPA. Hoppy but not too hoppy a lot like their main pail ale.

Tap. Pours a medium gold with medium head. The flavor is mildly piney and the hop bitterness really kicks in on the finish.

Nice amber/gold with creamy head. Smelt and tasted like citrus / floral. Had the bitterness I would expect. Easy drinking

Long Island, NY - 12 oz. poured a slightly hazy amber color with decent white head. This being an "extra" IPA I was expecting some super intimidating hoppiness. Aroma was slightly of hops but mild with a tiny hint of some fruit, maybe some raspberry/citrus. Taste was initially mild then you get the slight hops then a fruity alcohol then a dry crisp finish. Definately Got better with each sip. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
