Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

LCI.

From the bottle after a bunch of landscaping work. Nice and refreshing mix of hop bitterness with malty backbone.

The looks of the beer are good, suitable for the style. The color of the beer is a nice orange. The beer is quite cloudy. On top of the beer, a nice layer of rather rough white foam is formed. Foam retention is average. After a while a thin drape of foam is left. The foam is good, but not extremely special. It is IPA like. The smell isnt that strong. I smell some American hops. There are some aromas of pine wood, some floral notes and some malts. There isnt a lot besides that. There are nice bitters of the hops, some malty sweets, both quite well balanced. The taste is stronger. There is a lovely bitterness, some sweeter malts and a nice rather sour fruitiness. You can clearly taste the American hops, together with the malts. There is also some strong alcohol. I get why they call it a double IPA. It is stronger than a normal IPA, a bit more malts than most IPAs. The palate is good. Nice medium body and carbonation, nice smooth beer. Nice alcohol warmth. Good shit.

Nice. Ticks all the boxes for a good IPA. Full flavor with citrus, some malt sweetness and bitter resinous hops. The aftertaste is long dry resinous bitter.
