Appearance: Golden yellow hue with deep copper shades, almost copper really. Medium white head with fair persistance. Not crystal clear, but still transparent.
Aroma: Fruity. A surprising orange marmelade aroma, with notes of grapefruit and faint notes of peach, also faint notes of resin in the very end.
Taste: Intense bitterness, balanced with a fruitiness that is still there in the long, full, bitter finish. Full bodied, though never heavy, a little balsamic note from the alcohol. Good. davidm (2081) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 12, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2012 Bottle from Parkhill cellars. Exceptional, very well hopped. Aromas of caramel, grass, pine, and hints of butter. Taste starts sweet, with bitterness taking over for a long finish. Palate is creamy, with a medium-to-full body. Amber, with a big head.
Test vom 17.4.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche jolo (1152) - Uppsala, Sweden, SOUTH AFRICA - SEP 9, 2011

Poured at GBBF London august 2011. Golden with a medium head. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Very hoppy flavor. monstersmash (17) - Georgia, USA - SEP 6, 2011
12 oz. bottle. Aroma was grassy & pine. Nice head & color. Taste was a little bitter but not much hop attitude to it; I expected more. Not a bad effort, but I like IPA’s with more punch. MPayne (13) - Virginia, USA - SEP 3, 2011
This is one of the easiest drinking IPA’s I have had. It had a definitive hoppy taste, with a mild bitterness but a very smooth dry finish. Beautiful malted golden color with a nice head. If you like hoppy beers this is a good choice. I would consider this a nice session beer. I find the aroma rather mild but it makes up for it in taste.
