UPDATED: OCT 24, 2011 Pours copper colored with a slight head. I have been drinking this beer a long time, its cheap readily available and awesome. Its characteristics greatly change with age. When its fresh its very piney the hops are overwhelming in a good way. When it ages a bit, the caramel malts come out a bit more, either way its pretty great stuff. When I think American IPA this is the first beer that comes to mind. nothing fancy just great hoppy flavor. One of my favorite every day beers. jcos (1851) - Maryland, USA - JUL 7, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 18, 2014 General re-rate: Nice amount of pine, decent bitterness, very solid IPA easily available.
Location/Date:Bottle on July 7th, 2011 from Dave.jtd6628 (362) - North Carolina, USA - JUL 5, 2011
Appearance: Pours a reddish-brown opaque.
Aroma: Aroma of floral hop, not overbearing, and bready malt.
Taste: Taste is medium to medium light for style, some light sour from the malt.
Palate:Medium light body, slightly slick, sneaky finish(it is light at first, then sticks around.
Summary: A well made IPA that I definitely enjoyed, but nothing in particular stuck out to me about it.
Good beer. Can purchase Sierra Nevada any where so it is fine to have as go to beer when you can’t find that hard to find hoppy beer. Nsanders (1142) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - JUL 5, 2011
Dark orange with foamy cream colored head. Fruity, light hop aroma. Moderately sweet with a med-light bitterness. Lighter bodied. badwhale (420) - Bitterville, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 3, 2011
Bottle to pilsner glass. Pours a nice copper / amber color, clear with an off white head. Great mouthfeel, thick and juicy, dripping with pine and citrus hop flavors. Awesome.

Finally got around to this one, no clue why it took so long. To me, a perfect example of what dry hopping does. You get a huge resinous/piney nose and palate from it. Almost tastes oily. Very refreshing. pintocb (654) - Hoon, Georgia, USA - JUL 2, 2011
One of the hoppiest beers I’ve had. Copper color. Hops dominate everything. Great hop head beer. fiercepanda (615) - Missouri, USA - JUL 1, 2011
Barely cloudy, reddish amber with a lingering off-white head. The aroma blends pine, grass, and grapefruit nicely, while the flavor puts the floral and pine to the forefront with just the right amount of bitterness on the finish. Great palate and lacing, a nice IPA. cleverlobo (319) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 30, 2011
