COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Bottle. Deep copper red, creamy white head. Smells of grass, malts, pine, zests and citrus. Taste has citrus and zests, some grass. Medium bodied with some sweetness. Finish is very hoppy and bitter. Feel is a bit oily. Very good IPA

Bottle. Very large white head....mmmmm oh yeah. Nose of hops and more hops. i detect pine and citrus with some floral notes in there too. Taste is bitter upfront with grassy notes and is quite dry. Some sweetness and more bitterness follows. Not as bitter as I expected it to be, but still pretty solid. Palate is dry with a piney aftertaste.

Poured from a 12oz bottle. Nice frothy head with a clear amber-orange body. Nice carbonation with an evident hop aroma. The hoppiness is not overwhelming but it does let you know it is there with the first taste. A quality IPA with a soft West Coast style bite.

Good stuff! Pours a crystal clear copper with thin white head. Aroma is full of piny hops. Leaves some great lacing behind. Taste is more hop than malt, but very smooth. Slight bite in the finish.

just your typical high quality american IPA. huge citrus hops, loads of citrus fruit, and some nice balance in the sweet malts. The hops do outbalance the malts a bit but, its such a great hoppy experience. great stuff.

Very hoppy aroma with citrus and floral tones. Fine bronze color with a big head. Flavor is dry and very, very hoppy.

Bottle at Beer Bistro Toronto. Pours a copper like colour, with a nice pillowy white head and great lacing. Aroma is a little piney and hoppy, slight citrus. Taste is much the same. Holy crap this beer was awesome. my tasting notes were too vague because I enjoyed it so to much to take the time to put it down, it was also like the 7th beer of a amazing night.

Beautiful orange cloudy beer with a perfect head. The nose has grapefruit and pine which mostly covers the malt. The taste is loaded with more grapefruit and pine. The body is slightly bigger than a typical IPA and the texture is quite good with a persistent length and bitter finish. A bit too bitter to drink a lot of but good all the same.

chibuck (3513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2011
This beer pours a dark orange with a decent white head, not much lacing. The aroma is very bitter, lots of hops and pine cone. The taste is like the aroma but super-charged. Its all pine cone, I feel like Iím a squirrel. The bitter is so overwhelming it makes it hard to drink very much of this.
