COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

2016 catch up - Bottle at home - A nice strong IPA that was good alongside food. The hops were strong and the alcohol meant that this was verging on a double IPA. One that I would happily drink again, but it does lack subtlety.

Bottle. Amber, just a little bit hazy, with big, solid white head and good lacing. Light to medium hoppy aromas with some citrus and grassy notes. Light to medium body, solid malty background with little bit sweet flavors and right bitter finish. Nothing extraordinary but w very well done and balanced IPA.

Bottle from Albert Heijn in Gorinchem, The Netherlands. The beer is deep reddish colored and has a nice and large broken white head, with livingly CO2. The aroma is malty and very fruity, with notes of pines, herbs, citrus, flowers and tropical fruits. The taste is light sweet and starts malty and fruity with light caramel notes and citrus, grapefruit and tropical and changes into a bitterness with pines, herbs and fresh hops. The finish is refreshingly dry and very bitter and long noticable. Just a very nice IPA.

Quite bitter but easy drinking. Very sessionable. Smoother than most iPas, quite flat tasting with a lingering bitter orange peel after taste
