COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Medium body. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: droog trekkend bitter.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2017 Poured from a 35.5cl bottle. Brilliant hazy copper with an almost pure white head. The alcohol is not so well hidden as in other 7% + beers and comes through slightly effecting the flavour (for me a negative). Palate is the most impressive feature of this beer - full bodies, slightly oily and a nice level of carbonation. Dominating malt flavours of honey and caramel, and less subtle pine and citrus.

Pours clear amber brown, fizzy head. Aroma is slightly syrupy malt, maple, pine, light orange. Flavour is impeccably balanced -bready and sweet malts, leafy hops, citrus, some cherry and nutty tones as well. More on the sweet side, but very easy to drink. Nice carbonation, refreshing palate. The end result is greater than the sum of its parts. Quality stuff.

Orange hued gold color with a big fluffy white head of foam. Gives an impression of sweet grain and duck sticky grapefruit. Tastes better from the van than the bottle.

35,5cl bottle at home. Appearance: slightly hazy dark straw with medium yellowish head. Aroma: mainly hops, pine and even some cannabis smell right after opening the bottle. Not a lot of fruits, except for some citrus. Taste: medium sweetness and high bitterness. Notes of caramel, bread, hops and licorice. The finish is dry-bitter. Palate: medium bodied, watery texture and lively carbonation.
