Draught sample. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of resin, some dry malt, touches of earth and tea. Tastes resiny and mildly bitter with a nice dry malty finish. I was surprised to see this on draught in a random bar in CT! Sammy (13107) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 16, 2008
On tap at American Flatbread. A good Ipa and drinkable good bitternes. The c-hop in the aroma, the foam on a darker colour.Works for me. SmellGood (339) - Memphis, Tennessee, USA - MAY 13, 2008
I was told by a waitress at Flying Saucer that this tasted like a pine tree and was not disappointed. No wood taste, of course, but the flowery aroma and taste of hops was quite fulfilling. TeamTrappist (832) - jericho, New York, USA - MAY 13, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2008 On tap at hop devil.Poured a med amber with a small foamy head. No distinct nose, but a big hop and bitter finish. Medium bodied beer that has a nice flavor to it. Similar to Sn Celebration but less sweet. A good solid beer.
2008 version, on tap at Blind Tiger.Nice hop nose with a distinct spice in it. Light copper color with a thin head. Very smooth and tasty beer with a strong malt to it. Finish was smoothly bitter.

Sampled on draught: Poured a clear but dark copper colour with a fairly large white head. Aroma is delightfuly piney, fruity with plenty of citrus. Mouthfeel is well carbonated, taste is well hopped, not overly acidic. Soft grapefruit all the way through. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - MAY 12, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2008 Pours clear copper with a small head. Medium hop aroma. Dry bitter hop taste, no malt or sweetness. Super bitter. Mouthfeel is a little heavy and dry, and gives out a little bit of a burn on the way down. I like IPAs a lot but not this one that much. alebrewer (140) - Mentor, Ohio, USA - MAY 12, 2008
Draught @ Charlie Mopps
Darker than SNPA and the dry hopping is very evident. not quite as balanced as I would lik, but another very solid beer from SN. emacgee (4722) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - MAY 12, 2008
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a beautiful coppery red orange with a one finger creamy light yellow head. The nose jumps out of the glass, citrusy, fruity, chewy resinous hops, mild sweetness. The flavor is sharp and spicy, resinous bitter hops, not as much delicate flavor as I’d like and more of the astringency from the hops. Still a tasty IPA. DocLock (11217) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 12, 2008
Draft at Capone’s. Pours copper with off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, hops, tangerine, citrus. Flavor is hoppy, a bit acidic and tart, and stays fairly smooth.
