On tap at Flying Saucer. Has a copper amber color with a medium white head. The aroma is a strong hop and pine. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a very strong hop and citrus. A good IPA from Sierra Nevada. SDbruboy (1863) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 20, 2008
On draft at Cato’s Alehouse in Oakland. Mostly clear amber color with a creamy off-white head. Citrus fruits, toasty with a hint of caramel, fragrant florals in the aroma. Nice toasty and toffee malts, counterbalanced by juicy hops of the citrus and delicate pine persuasion. Medium body with crisp and tingly carbonation. This is my favorite of the SN IPA’s I think, quite good! doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 18, 2008
On-tap at O’Brien’s 5/15/08. Pours a clearish copper color with a white head, decent retention, good lace. Smells crisp, sweet malty with just a hint of hop aroma. Tastes super malty sweet, earthy. The hops didn’t kick in until 30 seconds or so after I swallowed. Medium body, mellow/weak carbonation. ABUSEDGOAT (2967) - California, USA - MAY 17, 2008
Draft at Toronado: Big thanks to Bobby from Celebrator for the freebie. Amber colored. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, sweet hops, usual caramel backing. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness and sweetness. Another solid offering from SN. Odeed (1806) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAY 16, 2008

Draught sample. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of resin, some dry malt, touches of earth and tea. Tastes resiny and mildly bitter with a nice dry malty finish. I was surprised to see this on draught in a random bar in CT! Sammy (13265) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 16, 2008
On tap at American Flatbread. A good Ipa and drinkable good bitternes. The c-hop in the aroma, the foam on a darker colour.Works for me. SmellGood (339) - Memphis, Tennessee, USA - MAY 13, 2008
I was told by a waitress at Flying Saucer that this tasted like a pine tree and was not disappointed. No wood taste, of course, but the flowery aroma and taste of hops was quite fulfilling. TeamTrappist (834) - jericho, New York, USA - MAY 13, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2008 On tap at hop devil.Poured a med amber with a small foamy head. No distinct nose, but a big hop and bitter finish. Medium bodied beer that has a nice flavor to it. Similar to Sn Celebration but less sweet. A good solid beer.
2008 version, on tap at Blind Tiger.Nice hop nose with a distinct spice in it. Light copper color with a thin head. Very smooth and tasty beer with a strong malt to it. Finish was smoothly bitter. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 12, 2008
Sampled on draught: Poured a clear but dark copper colour with a fairly large white head. Aroma is delightfuly piney, fruity with plenty of citrus. Mouthfeel is well carbonated, taste is well hopped, not overly acidic. Soft grapefruit all the way through.
