Wow, is this ever a good beer. Sierra Nevada really knows what they are doing in their tanks. The best American produced IPA I’ve ever had, (and they are the rage right now.) This is truly outstanding beer, and worth the hype. Marvelously complex flavor and taste profile. Excellent mouth-feel and swallow. Finishes clean with dry bitter notes, (very pleasant.) This beer goes right up to the edge but never threatens to go over. TRULY, the best IPA beer available, (and I’ve tried a bunch.) I think I’ll have another right now.
Botlle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber to orange with a small to medium white head and an aroma of citrus hops, sweet malts, pine, toffe and grapefruit. The taste is medium to heavy sweet with a nice lasting hoppy finish.

Tap at brewdog barcelona. Pours rather unclear amber. Small white head, with a nice lacing. Smell is green, herbal, almost pepery by the hops. Taste is full, piny to the max, bitter, full malted backbone ( caramel maltyness ) finiahes a bit soapy. Not sure if the glasses or the beer is to blame ? Probably will get a re-rate in the future jennytroegpa (1) - Millersville, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2017 does not count
I enjoyed the nice creamy Rich froth of this IPA, but for me it was a bit bitter. I like a full-bodied, fully flavourful IPA but this hits the back of your throat with a bitterness that doesn’t leave. It’s nice for a one-off but I wouldn’t have more than one in one sitting. amikhaylov (52) - Moscow, RUSSIA - AUG 11, 2017
A very well-balanced IPA. Citrus and pine in aroma, hop bitterness and some sweetness in taste. Good west-coast style IPA. muldereric (4) - - AUG 10, 2017 does not count

bottle 355 mL poured in glass, brownish-copper color with thick white head, nice hoppy aroma, mild astringency on sip but ok, hoppy flavor: citrus, mildly grassy and some pine, fairly bitter that lingers a bit. very nice brew, bottle says 65 ibus... i’d say its higher than that. 12oz bottle @ home. Lightly hazed orange pour with a sticky off white head. Pine, grapefruit nose. Lots of hops character in the flavor as well, with grapefruit, orange, lemon, caramel malt, resin. Nice lingering bitter finish, but balanced nicely to avoid being just a hops show. Really good stuff this. thejackpacker (477) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2017
Bottle from Beer Hawk. This beer is absolutely seduction in a glass. Dark golden colour. The smell is nice, hoppy. The taste is strong and deep, very fulfilling. Pine, old hops, creamy malts. I’m not enamoured but decent indeed. Nb: one month out of date (alcohol coming through quote bluntly and carbonation a little strong).
