375ml bottle from the brewery. Margarita beer - pours hazy golden orange with a lasting off white head. Lime, tequila, oak, alcohol, salt, though that may be a learned response :) Full bodied with evident alcohol. Unusual and very tasty, went back and got more.

Bottle to glass. Nose is lightly sour, gose-like. Some papery oxidation for sure coming in the aroma. Sort of margarita-esque. Fairly clear deep gold with large white head. Taste is light sherry and paper oxidation. Thin, watery. Light lemon/lime flavors but otherwise malty sweet and sticky. Not my jive. Not much barrel character unless that’s he lemon/lime coming through. Meh

Beer from beer junction. Caged and corked 12oz bottle. This may be two years old. Nice beer. If your expecting a margarita you won’t bet getting that here. What you will get is a nice crafted ale that has great notes of lime and on the far back the tasted of taquilla. Really nice and quite a nice take on barrel aging.

Bottle that I took to the ice cider tasting at James’. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Big salty lime, sweet and full of wood, soft butter and caramel. Medium-bodied, soft caramel, a bit of wood, tequila, soft salt and lime.

375 picked up by Deggar and shared tonight by Buckeyeboy... Thanks guys!! Pours clear orange with a nice white head and lacing.. Tequila notes are pretty heavy especially with warmth.. lime zest helps moves this into a more familiar territory.. Unique is an understatement.

375ml bottle pours out copper color topped with a sand head. Nose is sweet barrel notes lime citrus and some salty brine notes. Taste is more of the barrel notes lime citrus sweetness and some salt.

easily one of the stranger beers i’ve had in a while, never thought sierra nevada would do a beer like this .. mouth was quite thin .. . day old dried out lime wedges, wood, and tequila like sharp cuts .. mouth is a bit muddy .. quick and a bit strange, really odd beer .. . . you don’t know pain until you cut your lips on a citrus zester in a hot sauce factories bathroom.

Orangish pour, light head. Odd beer. Tequila is pretty forward with the sweeter strong ale in the back. Not a favorite of mine.
