Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Amber to brown color with a beige head. Aroma of malt, nuts and a bit of caramel. Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of cocoa, carmel, light earthiness and light nuttiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Bottled, 350ml from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham. Brown to ruby with very short lived head. Smooth malty and quite sweet beer, some fruitiness, berries, plummy with a hint of red wine, grapes, but mostly just sweetly smooth. Hints of hop in the close. On tap at flying saucer. Pours a dark brown with a medium frothy off white head that last awhile leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is roasted malt with coffee and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet malt with raisin and light roast. Easy to drink a very good brown ale from Sierra Nevada.

Bottle. Poured clear dark brown color with a large frothy brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate toasted sweety malt and smal hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
