COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sierra Nevada uses malt within days of roasting at the peak of its flavor to give Tumbler a gracefully smooth malt character. Two-row pale, crystal 40, chocolate and smoked malts give it a malty complexity. Challenger hops in the boil add balancing bitterness, while more Challengers and some Goldings give just enough hop flavor in the finish to balance all that malt.

12 oz bottle at home from notes. Pours a clear brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted malts, caramel, herbal notes, earthy, a slight nutty character, mild bitterness, decent enough.

Taster EBCF. Pours slightly murky brown, thin tan head. Malty aroma, but soft. More of that on the taste. This is decent. but it’s like SN doing a traditional ale, which is a bit weird. OK but a bit underwhelming

Half at the rake. Ok drop. Great looking. Carrots and celery but a little too refined. Bland even.

Kwg at the Kings Arms. A clear ruby red brown coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is subdued, little brown bread, sugars, light floral hop, pollen. . Flavour is composed of Base malts, light toasted malts, faint pine, floral hop, brown sugars. Palate is semi sweet, semi crisp, medium bodied. Easy going brown ale.

En mere tyk og fyldig brown ale end de fleste. Har en nøddeagtig eftersmag..

It pours brown with a full tan head that does produce some lacing. There are aromas of nuts, roast, a slight bit of smoke, and slight fruit. It has flavors that feature a bit of smoke, nuts, roast, and a bit of plum. It has a fairly light body with a somewhat smooth finish. Overall, a nutty, smoky brew that is complimented by the roast and plums.
