COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on the classic European amber lager. It has bright reddish highlights and a pronounced bready malt aroma reminiscent of its Austrian counterparts. The flavor plays slightly toward caramel and toasted lager malt but remains balanced and drinkable with a clean finish perfect for a summer session.

On tap at the Session Ale Fest at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours a light hue for a Vienna, with a off-white head. Aroma is biscuity and malty with a bit of vegital. Taste is grainy and bready with some grassy hops. Nothing special. Medium fizz.

4oz pour at the Maxs Taphouse Beer Camp event. Pours a clear orange with some cloudy, white head. Nose has a real distinct grainy character, nutty like peanut skins, plenty of yeasty dough, a bit of buttered toast. Flavor is spot on, yeasty bread, flicks of orange, some biscuit. Clean finish. So true to style.

Bottle: The aroma is very light and consists of lightly toasted grains with a hint of caramel. It pours a transparent amber with a two finger beige head that has decent retention before fading to a very thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. There is some sporadic webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light-moderate caramel and light fruit. The finish has light toasted grain/cereal notes with some grassiness. Its light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

12 oz. bottle. It pours a very clear light amber color with a small off white head. The aroma has lots of light toast, nuts and subtle fruit notes. The flavor is pleasant with more of the same balanced bread, toast, earthy hops and light notes of dark berry fruit. More bread, toast and light earthy bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable, and a good representation of the style, albeit a little strong with the bitterness.

Aroma is caramel, light fruit and malts. The flavor is fruit, caramel, light citrus and a mildly bitter/tart finish. Very easy to drink, among the best in the style.
