Draft @ Sierra Nevada. Pours a bright, clear, effervescent golden-orange color; significant, creamy, fine-bubbled white head with great retention and lacing; beautiful pour with lacing that coats the glass. Softly grainy, Grape-Nuts-like malt presence in the nose: clearly expressed and fresh; light mineral hop character present as well; very engaging and crisp. Medium to medium-light body; lively carbonation; lightly creamy and certainly crisp; the mouthfeel and body on this is great: crisp, dry, lightly bitter; light acidity; again, that fresh Grape Nuts / toasted malt core here is key, beautifully presented; I could drink this endlessly; very sessionable. Medium finish: toasty malt, light sugar, minerals, and even a mild huskiness; nicely dry. Velkyal (322) - Gordonsville, Virginia, USA - SEP 29, 2011
pours a lovely shade of dark amber, with flecks of red glinting in the background, topped with firm white head. The aroma was grass, mild herbs and some lemon in the mix. Taste was toasty with a firm caramel sweetness all balanced with an unobtrusive hop bite, medium bodied and far too easy to drink (4 mouthfuls did the trick!). unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - AUG 19, 2014
12oz bottle, 2014 FallPack mixed 12pk. Pours deep amber/copper color. Thin white ring. Aroma of lightly toasted grains, lagered scent, dominate earthy honey notes. Toasted flavor. Dry finish. Medium bodied. Finishes with a flavor of toasted malts & wooded grains. Very clean. (4155) beertholomeus (1814) - California, USA - SEP 12, 2014

Hazy golden-yellow color, puffy white head.
Aroma is bready, sweet malts with just a hint of lemon-square. Touch of lime-citrus. It’s got a wheat-like tartness that is really nice for this style. The word "pleasant" doesn’t do it justice. Bright.
The taste is a little more bitter: it’s got some Euro hops that are sharp but not unpleasant. It’s definitely more of a Euro vibe in the flavor. A little salt-n-pepper in the finish.
The feel is champagne-dry. I really like this beer; it’s a great go-to for flavor but not a ton of complexity. A really pleasant brew. puzzl (3264) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 25, 2007
Tap at Blind Tiger. Dry, floral aroma. Kind of sweaty and rich. Nice head. Dry, crisp, refreshing. Cookie and lettuce/cucumber notes. Bready malts and light euro hops. Very very nice. Super sessionable.
