Pours black with even thickish head. Grapefruit, orange rind, toffee, malt in the aroma. Some citrus in the taste with a soft burt bitterness that’s pleasant. Nice palate with medium carbo. A nice beer that’s both tangy and bitter.
Bottle, 33cL. Home. Traded with @erickok (#4). Merci Eric ! Home. A sparkling dark brown beer with a big beige creamy head ; good retention. Red berries (blackberry), roast, herbs, light resin, light pepper. Light sweet, light to medium lasting bitter, light dry refreshing. Medium body and texture, average carbonation, dry bitter fruity finish refreshing, light warming. Overall, beautiful, nice aroma, good balance. cagou007 (1206) - FRANCE - SEP 20, 2014
Pours black with small tan head. Nose is caramel. Nose is caramel. Aromas are coffee, chocolate, dark fruits and roasted malts. Finish is sweet and sour. Bit that bad, but don't let make me think about a black IPA.

bottle from saveur-biere.com. Deep black, with a beige head. Malty with dark malts, dark chocolate, coffee and lots of spicy, aromatic hops. Hoppy, dark delight. Grzesiek79 (4378) - Radom, POLAND - JUL 11, 2014
Limited Edition. Bardzo dobre Black IPA. z taka warstwa osadu ze mialem problem wybeltac to. Piwo limitowane z fajna grafika, czarne i to po dolaniu piwa bez osadu. Wiec gestosc niesamowita. Tu w smaku dominowala czekolada deserowo gozka a takze pudding czekoladowy daktyle i sliwki w czekoladzie. Zapach czekoladowo kakaowy. Tresciwe a pod koniec tej czekoladowej uczty slodkawy finisz. Ciekawe na pocztku gozkawe i zdecydowanie wytrawne a na koniec odwritnie. Wspaniale i konkretnie zbalansowane. jookos (6948) - FINLAND - JUN 30, 2014
Bottle. Dark, black, well foamed. Roasty dry chocolate, sweet licorice on nose. Lightish body, coffee espresso roastyness, some chocolate. Well, dark it is, well bittered and dry, but didn’t find much of hops in flavour that I would take as the difference between a dry stout and a black IPA. Ok drink, but not much more.

Again big thanks to quack-duck for that bottle. Looks really good. Beer in the glass dark black, huge head. Malty, shy smokey aroma. Starts mild, more and more intense malty, light earthy-stouty. Light hoppy-dry background. Finish dominated by malty-stouty notes, modest woody. Not bad! kerenmk (5027) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. Very dark, opaque brown with tan head. Sweet, creme’ de violet and spiced cocoa in the nose, a little burnt, bitter, some spices in the mouth. roasty finish and a body that’s too light. 330ml bottle. Ruby red glowing, dark brown colour with huge, firm, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty dark malty aroma, a touch of dark chocolate, some orange, mandarine. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, minimally tart, hints of orange zest, orange, mandarine, dark malty background with hints of bitter, dark chocolate. Slightly light bodied, a bit cautious, but well balanced and drinkable. zvikar (6302) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - APR 18, 2014
