Medium beige head. Barely translucent deep dark red body. Dusty toffee and caramel aroma with roasty wild berry and chocolate notes. Very vivid and harmonic. Dry roasty grainy chocolatey taste with coffee, metal, and fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry roasty grainy burnt aftertaste with oats and resin notes. Excellent! The best dry schwarzbier I’ve ever had. (0.5l bottle, Olympen, Oslo.) Brix (714) - Roedovre, DENMARK - JAN 2, 2011
Tasted 2010-12-29. Pours clear, red/brown with big, grey/beige head. Aroma is smokey with cocoa and ever so slight metallic. Taste is very smokey. The smoke dominates a bit too much of the flavour, but it doesn’t ruin the beer. Overall its a bit weak and watery. faroeviking (11329) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - DEC 20, 2010
Fløska. Clear very deep dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of smoke and roasty caramel with softly roasty malt. Good mouthfeel. Flavour of roasted caramel, smoke, dark fruit and ¨roasty (soft) malt. A tasty Schwarz brew indeed. jesperhammer (5017) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2010
03-DEC-2010, bottle @Ulkløbben @Henrik, from Systembolaget "Boräs".
Dark dark brown.
Roasted, brown ale like nose.
Taste is fine roasted as well, but the brew turns very thin. For a schwartzbier it is fine. I guess I just hoped for a bit more.
Still fine brew. RuneStumo (2733) - Haugesund, NORWAY - DEC 4, 2010

Bottle at home.
Dark red-black with a light brown head. Aroma heavy malty (roasted, coffee, chocolate). Flavor moderate sweet, light bitter, smooth. Coffee, dark chocolate, licorice, notes of vanilla. Medium body, not a schwarzbier to me, but very drinkabkle. SirLimpsalot (4696) - SWEDEN - NOV 3, 2010
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2011 Pours black with fluffy brown head. Aroma is smokey, roasted malts, coffee and dried fruits. Flavor is dry, roasted malts, acidy sour and crisp in mouth. Also tones of fruityness. A bit thin flat on palate. Finishes tart, dry and hoppy. VsXsV (4571) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 22, 2010
50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Black colour with some red and medium sized, beige head. Smells of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and some smoke. Taste is a bitter with some chocolate/coffee. Very drinkable and well balanced. Mouthfeel is dry with a somewhat thin feel. Good beer though. KnutAlbert (6798) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2010
Very dark brown with creay milk chocolate head. Lovely roasted malt taste, a hint of charcoal and coffee, Caffe latte, actually, as there is milky sweetness in there, too. Avoids getting too sticky, a pleasant Schwarzbier, would be lovely with some smoked pork!
