Bottle. A clear one, golden in color. Off-white head. Grainy pale malts and fruityness on the nose. Some piney notes. Medium body, a bit hard on carbonation. Fruity flavor with some bitterness. Short finish. Sure a pleasant beer, for session use, but quite boring, so I’d probably find something else. 120301 esp0r (2931) - NORWAY - MAR 15, 2012
Copper hazy, big beige head. Smells of grain, yeast, some dust and pepper, also baked bread. Malty taste, some sweetness, not very dry. Nice hoppy peppery bitterness. Light to medium body. rosenbergh (11870) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 25, 2012
330 ml bottle. As Sigtuna East River Spring Lager. From Malmö, Sweden. Gusgus (237) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - APR 16, 2012
Clear golden colour with tiny white head.
Grainy malty aroma. Flavour is also grainy malty with some floral hops. Mild sweetness and moderate hoppy bitterness. Drinkable for a lager. Bitterness stays. Thinnish. Nice label.
BB 2012-10-17 batch 273. Golden colour with a hint of amber. Small white head. Initial dusty malt aroma turns bready with hint of fresh mushrooms. Flowery aroma follows. Taste is malty and grainy. Firm bitterness leads to a dry finish with some grapefruit sourness lingering in the aftertaste. Well made German lager with a twist.

500ml bottle carried home from Vikapolet in Oslo. A slight haze to an amber-gold body. Caramel malts to the nose. Ditto taste profile accomplished by dusty hops. Distant fruit bitterness to the ending. Food friendly (Tromsø, 08.04.2012).

Bottle (5.2% version, BB Oct 29, 2012). SimonRoller (390) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 10, 2012
Head is initially small, fizzy/frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy dark yellow, bottle conditioned.
Aroma is a lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers/honeysuckle, apricot), lightly yeasty (basement), with notes of celery and aspirin.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Certainly wouldn’t call it a Vienna...not much malt in either nose or mouth, this is a hop-driven beer from start to finish, and luckily the hops are attractive to the nose and provide ample bitterness in the finish. Sadly, though, it’s a bit rough otherwise...kinda husky, vegetal, and thin-and-watery. If the BB date is a year from bottling, it is admittedly a bit old now and may be suffering from that. Mike will never give me a bottle of beer ever again.
UPDATED: MAR 18, 2012 Bottle, pours golden with off white head. Aroma is bready and some grass. Taste is malty, floral and some fruits. BeerSkull (1372) - SWEDEN - APR 6, 2012
UPDATED: APR 12, 2012 Vague aroma of caramel malt and grassy hops. The flavor is grainy with a vaguely stale tone of caramel malt and some grassy and floral hops. Drinkable but not a particularly good beer! bminuso (14) - - AUG 7, 2013
