Smak och doft av humle, malt, jäst, knäck, karamell, brödig med toner av citrus. Lagom söt och god beska. BeerSkull (1373) - SWEDEN - APR 6, 2012
The smell and the taste is enjoyable hop-aromatic, with hints of citrus, yeast and spices. The beer is classified as a "Belgian Ale" but I think it is very American in the character. A very tasty beer! thomat (3986) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 23, 2011

Serving date: 2009-03-26. Served in tulip. Best before: 2009-12-02.
Very cloudy, orange/amber color. Pours a rather small 2 cm white and uneven head. The head dissipates quickly and leaves a small ring of lacings around the edges of the glass.
Mostly sweetish aromas. Lots of fruit (orange, peach, banana). Something reminiscent of fruit-flavored ice pop. Coriander, general spices, yeast. It’s a rather pleasant smell, although it’s a bit one-sided in favor of sweet fruity flavors.
Plenty of sweet flavors. Again, that sensation of fruit-flavored ice pop appears. Orange, peach and some banana (but not as prominent as in the smell). A fairly solid malt base. Caramel. Coriander, earth, yeast. Hop flavors are moderate. In the middle, a faint tart note appears. In the finish there is a minimal bitterness, toffee-like malts and spicy alcohol. Towards the end, the beer opens up a bit and the spices (especially coriander) and alcohol become more prominent.
Medium body, slightly sticky texture. The level of carbonation is way to low, and this makes the mouthfeel slightly dull.
This one came out slightly uneven to me. The smell is good and pleasant, but unfortunately the taste can’t really keep up with it. It’s too restrained, and most importantly too focused on sweet flavors. It lacks big and bold flavors that can back this up and balance everything out. And, as noted, the level of carbonation is way too low. Towards the end, the beer almost goes flat.
