[email protected] (thanks hammenlind!). Orangeish brown hazy colour with a mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is fruity, some mild notes of wheat, banana, alcohol and some slight sour wood as well. Flavour is rather similar in a quite nice balance, and also has some slight vanillaish and zesty notes to it.

Sample @ Stockholm Beer & Whisky 2012. Pours very hazy brownish golden with a frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, malty and fruity with banana bread, yeasty esters, hay, cloves, white pepper and crackers. Taste is sweet and malty with banana bread, hay, yeasty esters, cloves, coriander, crackers, lemon zest, alcohol and hints of white pepper and dry wood. Mouthfeel is creamy, round, smooth and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and spicy bitter with banana bread, cloves, lemon balm, dry wood, lemon zest and peppery dry wood. Quite nice!

Draught at the Bishops Arms, Östersund, Sweden. Hazy dark brown (probably, dim lighting) colour with lasting creamy off-white head. Yeast, wheat and some rubber in aroma. Flavour is wheat, yeast, mild alcohol and more yeast. Smooth. Not exactly Weizenbock but pretty near. Some IPA notes here too. Mild bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Draught at MacKinlay’s Inn, Stockholm, 17 Aug 2012) Murky, orangey brown colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with banana, dried fruit and slightly sourish aromas of wheat. Fruity, malty taste with notes of apricots, banana, bread, clove and a touch of alcohol coming through in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. A bit weird, but taste is better than the nose, so it’s quite decent.

Aroma: Smelling fruity and spicy, bananas, "fruit soup", coriander.
Appearance: A clouded amber/orange brew with a white head having good lacing and curtains.
Taste: Sweet brown bread, almond biscuits, tutti frutti, clove, cardamom and bark.
Palate: Little carbonation, foamy, sticky with a big body, slightly dry.
Overall: A heavy, borderline too heavy, robust weizenbock. A complete meal.
Note: On tap at De Klomp.. Reviewed 2012-07-26.
