Bottle @ Too many Geuze’s - only one toilet , Ulfborg 2012. Pours dark muddy brown with no head. Sweet nose of roast, chocolate and tobacco. Flavor is chocolate and caramel. Sweet and vaguely ashy. Thin mouthfeel. Flat carbonation. TheJestersBeer (2430) - SWEDEN - JAN 5, 2012
Pours a hazy dark brown, with a beige head.
Roasted aromas, lots of coffee beans and dark chocolate, some caramel/fudge, faintly hoppy, malt, tobacco, yeast.
Off-dry, medium to full bodied, medium bitterness, creamy CO2.
Roasted taste, coffee beans, chocolate, fudge, hints of vanilla, quite yeasty, with some acidity from the roasted malt. OK balance, but ends on a somewhat harsh, dry note. Overall, a nice beer. (2012-01-05) Cunningham (8279) - Halden, NORWAY - DEC 31, 2011
