Bottled. A dark red beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks Theis for sharing. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 13, 2011
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Theis. Pours a dark brown with a tint of red and a small, off-white head. Heavy roasty aroma combined with dark fruits. Medium body, heavy, fruity roast with some malty bitterness. Straight and pleasant alright. 131011 CarlJonas (392) - Linköping, SWEDEN - OCT 8, 2011
Bottle. Daaaaark brown, the tan head isn’t huge but quite creamy. A bit tame on the nose but the typical smoky chocolate and coffee aromas are there. Once you drink it though, it packs a bit more punch. First there’s the sticky sweetness that gradually gives way to a slightly burnt bitterness with an unfortunate metallic edge. This might not sound very tantalising but apart from the metal, the flavours are quite rich and fulfilling. The big draw for me though is the carbonation that makes just one small sip practically explode in your mouth. It wears off after a while though so drink fast. mile (4052) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 7, 2011
Bottle. Very dark brown, average and mostly lasting light brown head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, roasted malt and some coffee and salty licorice. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, roasted malt and some coffee, light hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, roasted malt and coffee with light hoppyness. Porter with roasted malt and coffee - bit too sweet and too much coffee for my taste.

500 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Dark brown/black, cloudy liquid with medium tan head. Aroma is quite roasty and a bit hoppy with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco, leather, brittish hops, dark roasted coffee and roasted malt. Smells quite a lot like a stout. Taste is light sweet, a bit dry and medium bitter. Bitterness is somewhat metallic. Good balance but a bit more roasted than most porters. Light to medium bodied with ok carbonation and a bit watery mouthfeel. Mouthfeel is a bit sticky. Quite long, lingering, roasty and bitter finish. Overall, quite good but a bit more like a stout than a porter (apart from the mouthfeel). The somewhat watery mouthfeel makes it very drinkable. dnoaksson (826) - , SWEDEN - SEP 20, 2011
