Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2009) - Hazy brown/copper coloured. Fruity and slightly sweet aroma with hints of marzipan. Slightly tart and sour taste with hints of dried fruit. I am not sure this is at its best. Svesse (8731) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - OCT 4, 2009
(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 19 Sep 2009) Hazy reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Lumps of sediment floating around. Fruity, almost tart nose with dried fruit, apricots and burnt rubber. Fruity, sourish taste with notes of dried fruit, apricots, rubber and earthy hops. Slightly more than medium body, balanced sweetness. The sharp and almost tart character gets a bit cloying after a while. Not too impressed by the wood ageing (or was this just a bad bottle?). Might have to give it a new chance if possible. omhper (25563) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 24, 2009
Bottled (#56/66) at Sorbon, Bromma, Stockholm. Cloudy copper colour, small head. Evident oaky whisky aroma. Fruity with subdued sweetness and underlying mild caramel and marzipan. Slimmed and focused on whisky. Elegant, thanks to it’s dryness. ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 27, 2009
Bottled at Sorbon, Bromma, Sweden. Pours out in a clear dark ruby brown colour with a low tan-coloured foam. Rich aroma of oak, fudge, nuts, peat and licorice. Full-bodied with notes of oak, licorice, yeast, almonds, nuts, berries and spices. Long warming finish of oak, nuts and spices.
