Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUN 1, 2011
0.5 l bottle. Hazy reddish brown color. Sweetish aroma with strong perfumy star anise note with some nuttiness. Sweetish taste overpowered with anise and licorice, some caramel and toffee in the background. To my taste the spices are overpowering.

SirLimpsalot (4549) - SWEDEN - DEC 10, 2010

Ganska nedtonad julkryddning. Betydligt bättre än MNM.

3.4
kryon (3846) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 16, 2011
High foamy head. Pours dark brown. Not many aromas but some christmas spices are there. Palate a bit mild. Bitter aftertaste which is fine. Overall better than I expected.

Lilja (3489) - Malmö, SWEDEN - APR 12, 2013
Smak och doft av choklad, vanilj, stjärnanis, laktris, humle, pommerans, en aning rök och blommer. Torr med en god beska.

3.6
ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2010
Bottle. Pours out in a cloudy mahogany appearance with a medium-zed lasting bubbly head. Quite spicy aroma of anise-seeds, cloves, caramel, orange-peels and toasted malts. Medium-bodied with balanced notes of caramel, cloves, anise, fudge, toasted malts and orange-peels. Medium-bitter finish of orange-peels, cardamom, caramel and spicy hops. This is not a spice-bomb, more like a rather harmonious spiced ale. Quite tasty, this.

3.4
hirigalzkar (3271) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 30, 2010
Bottle. Pours redbrown with a golden head. Chocolate, caramel and smoke notes in the aroma. Sweet taste of caramel, smoke some dry malt, some butter and a touch of hops.

3.2
Marsiblursi (3083) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 30, 2010
(Bottle) Pours dark brown to black with nougat coloured head. The aroma holds nutmeg, vanilla, ginger and cloves up front with a dry roasted, chocolaty malt backbone. Undertones of asphalt/tar, bark rye bread, ginger bread, citrus, dark sponge cake, Swedish julmust and liquorice root. The clove brings clear notes of German wheat beer phenols. The flavour is light sweet, light to medium bitter and light tom medium acidic. Tones of spices, roasted malt and citrus. The mouthfeel is soft and almost oily with a tart citric finish. Near medium carbonated. The finish is hoppy with light notes of spices and roast. Medium bodied.

3.9
pilsnerrogge (2997) - Finspång, SWEDEN - NOV 21, 2010
Bottle:
Pours a deep copper brown colour with a large, thick head. The aroma has subtle notes of vanilla, clove and aniseed. Flavour is slightly roasted and has notes of vanilla and clove followed by a long bitter orange-bitterness.
