500 ml bottle. Dark brown with red hues. Clear. Medium-sized light beige fine laced head that clings to the glass. Delicate spicy aromas. Hints of cinnamon and cacao. Crisp bitterness on the tongue, but this nicely balanced by malt complexity. Dry powdery texture. Yeasty notes. Clean lightly bitter finish. Excellent Christmas beer. Nicely balanced and very drinkable. Love it. Linnet (1890) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - FEB 2, 2011
Appearance: Dark ruby colour, big beige head.
Aroma: Spices, yeast, hops, roasted.
Total: nothing special.

Bottle. Dark copper red with a foamy beige head. Aroma: Christmas spices, orange, some julmust. Taste: fruit (also dried) Christmas spices, glögg, malt, caramel, some licorice, some grapefruit, low to medium bitterness. Medium-bodied. Good combination of spices, nice Christmas feel. Bottle, 50cl - Semi hazy dark brown red beer with a medium sized head. Aroma is spicy with notes of caramel, kloves and fluor. Flavor is malty with spicy notes of kloves, cardemom, and caramel. Classical house flavor and rather unbalanced. Jonte (1413) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - DEC 11, 2010
Bottle. Dark brown with a beige head. Malty, spicy aroma with lots of cloves, also some chocolate and citric hop notes. Flavor of spices (lots of cloves again), roastad malt, licorice, chocolate, cough syrup and citrus. Rather strong carbonation. Less heavy on the cloves and a bit smoother carbonation would make a really nice beer.

500ml bottle from Systembolaget. Brown-redish colour. Aroma has lots of X-mas spices. Coffe, malt, liqurice. Flavor is from roasted malt and spices. Mad_Ferret (1024) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 13, 2010
Clear dark ruby red. Dirty brown head. Aroma is spicy with some caramel and dark berries, liquorice. Taste is a bit bitter/sour with spice, liquorice, coffee, bitter chocolate, some dark fruit, burnt. Body is medium. Quite aggressive carbonation. For the christmas dinner table I guess it might work. Otherwise...naah. konstifik (573) - SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2010
Pours a very nice mahogany brown with a tanned head. Aroma is of bittered christmas spices and alcohol. Some oranges and cognacsoaked raisins in the background. Taste also has a lot of harshly bitter christmas spices. It’s just wrong for me, christmas spices should be on the sweet side. Lots of flavours going in all different directions too. I just don’t think this is a good spice beer. grungejesus (51) - SWEDEN - DEC 23, 2010
Lunktar surt och lite plastigt.red, clear, frothy, tan foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness, medium body, sticky, average carbonation,
Besviken. Luktade inte som det smakade. Smaken var ganska intetsägande, viss lakrits och rostadetoner. Smakade som ett halv ok hembryggt öl. Förstår inte hur Sigtuna kan vara nöjda med detta öl!
