chocolate, coffee, alcohol, smoke, vanilla, black, hazy, minimal head, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, full body, oily feel, flat, long finish, klas (413) - SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2014
Bottle from Systembolaget that has been aged a few years. This is the 10.1 Abv version. It has probably gained by being aged. Powerful chocolate, coffee and crystal aroma and taste.

Bottle, rated from backlog. Black with brown head. Aroma and taste is toasted, salt liqourice, chocolate, vanilla and roasted notes. Some fruit in the finish. Tinco (617) - Linköping, SWEDEN - APR 22, 2013
Bottle. Black liquid with almost no head. Aroma: roasted malts, coffee, dark sugars, hints of honey, chocolate, smooth. Taste: dark chocolate, coffee, sweet, raisins, candy. Low carbonation but pretty viscous mouthfeel. Good job!

Really good and amiable beer. The smell and the taste is absolutely wonderful. But still think it is missing that little something that would make it perfect. The aftertaste is really good and is left for a while. rarbring (2294) - Linköping, SWEDEN - DEC 3, 2012
Aroma: Very much roasted malt in the smell, burnt bread, dark roasted coffee beans, dark dried fruits.
olsvammel (7220) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 2, 2012
Appearance: The beer is dark dark brown, a very small tan head, some lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Starting very sweet, dark syrup, figs, raisins, marmalade, dark chocolate and bitter orange peel.
Palate: Little carbonation, sticky and oily, a heavy body, an almost coarse dry finish.
Overall: A very heavy brew, in many ways. Much body, much alcohol, much hops.
Note: Bottle 500 ml. (Vintage 2011) Reviewed 2011-11-17.
Bottle as a sample (will be available at Systembolaget) but this is 8% not 10,1%. Smell of chocolate and dark bread (vörtbröd). Similar taste with some subtle spices. Nice to lean back and sip at. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 20, 2012
courtesy of Per - black beer with no head retention; toasted with notes of black cherries and licorice, hints of chocolate underneath; low carbonation and full-bodied; fairly bitter with long notes of cacao, vanilla and black cherries
