VsXsV (4414) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2012
Bottle. Opaque black liquid with a thick, medium to big sized mocha head. Nice lacing. Aroma of fresh ground coffee, dark fruit, ash, bitter chocolate, bread, smoke and some sweet alcohol. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of coffee, piney hops and light ash. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Not flat as last year’s version. This one’s actually really good. Nice going. Jimbobbaby (7) - SWEDEN - DEC 1, 2012 does not count
Black as sin, the muskavadosugar sets a tone to the aroma. Full, rich flavour that carries while being very well balanced with a nice light finish. You can actually drink a mouthful.

Appearance: Black color with a nice big bubbly beige head. Fine lacing.
Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate and some fruity notes.
Palate: Thick oily body. Slightly sweet, with a mild bitterness. Creamy carbonation.
Taste: Cold coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and some fruity notes. Well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Well balanced and smooth. Lovely beer. And I can still not spot the difference between Imperial Stout and Imperial Strong Porter. I thought this was an Imp Stout.
Personal stats: Bottle from Systembolaget in Strömstad, Sweden.
330ml Bottle - Black with a foamy tan head. Roasted malt, plain chocolate and liquorice in the aroma. Rich and roasted taste with notes of coffee, salt liquorice, Bournville and roasted malt. Smooth, luxurious and easy to drink. Nische (2192) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 3, 2013
Black with light brown head. Malty aroma with roasted tones of coffee, chocolate and dark fruits. Loads of coffee in taste together with chocolate, vanilla and some fruity sweetness. Very good one. probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 9, 2013
330 mL bottle from LCBO served cool in a tulip glass. Deep brown-black with a decent mocha head. Deep, rich and sweet, plenty of toffee and molasses, vanilla, chocolate, wood notes, a little booze, a bit fruity...stewed raisins and figs, very nice. Medium+ body with relaxed effervescence. Strong, rich dark chocolate, molasses, dark dried fruits, darker and blacker than the nose, still fairly sweet and friendly though, vanilla, sine oak notes; sweet with sufficient bitterness and a long, mouth-coating finish off rich chocolate and molasses. Quite good. olsvammel (7216) - Örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 11, 2013
Bottle from Systembolaget. Allot of chocolate on the nose, milk chocolate and some booze in the background. Similar taste with a light aroma of dried fruit in the background. Nice beer.
