Medium brown head. Opaque black body goes deep dark red at
edges. Dense fruity alcoholic roasty aroma with earthy
chocolatey notes. Impressive harmony. Dry-sweet roasty earthy
fruity taste with perfumy red berry chocolate notes. Mid-bodied.
Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish earthy gooseberry
aftertaste with roasty chocolatey dusty fruity notes. Lovely.
Amazingly harmonic and seductively smooth. A great beer.

330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Liquorice, plain chocolate, pine and soapy hops in the aroma. Roasted and hoppy taste with notes of bitter plain chocolate, liquorice and soapy hops. More roasted than many beers of this type, but that’s not a criticism. tiong (7305) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 27, 2012

Pours dark brown, almost black with a small white head. Aroma of grassy hops, grainy malts, hints of fruits and roastiness. Taste is grainy and malty with hints of roastiness and fruity hops. Finish is malty and grainy with some fruity hops. Okay, a bit unbalanced black IPA. Too grainy and malty.
UPDATED: SEP 10, 2012 Sample at a tasting. It poured a very dark brown liquid with a brown head. Fresh hoppy smell with lots of tropical fruits. Similar taste but it’s paired up with a roasted bitterness and some dark malts. Nice BIPA. Edit: Tried this again (batch 381) and it lacked hop aroma quite allot. Lowered the score a bit to something inbetween the first and the second tasting.

33cl Bottle at Lost Property. Great to see Swedish beers here, especially for a Dutch price (€3,50). Black colour, rocky light beige head. Aroma of sweet milk chocolate, cocoa, moccha, a bit milky. Flavour is a lot less sweet than expected, lots of hard roasted malts, light ashy, firm grapefruit bitterness, light bitter chocolate, cold coffee, good hoppy bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft mouthfeel. Good beer, more a hoppy porter than a Black IPA imo. larsniclas (7077) - Billdal, SWEDEN - OCT 13, 2012

Black with a creamy, beige head.
Flowery and roasted aroma with licorice.
Dry cocoa and licorice in the flavour. Medium bitterness ekstedt (6790) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 6, 2012
Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget. Black with a large beige head. Intense dark chocolate and coffee aroma, some faint citric and piney hops, way too little for the style. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Semi dry with medium to high bitterness. A very nice foreign/imperial stout/porter.. Pyrmir (6107) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - OCT 30, 2012
330 ml bottle. Aroma pretty discreet, hints of coffee and caramel. Rich taste, good balance. Tastes pretty heavily of roasted malts, Ktwse (4894) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2012
Pours basically black with one thumb of light tan frothy head. Aroma a good balance between roasted malt / coffee and citrus hops. Slightly floral, but funnily, given the description, I can’t pick out any chocolate. Taste is more towards the chocolatey side with an initial sweetness that is quickly balanced up by a thick, dark chocolate bitterness. It’s not wildly bitter, however, more gentle, and the finish is slight but lingering. Body is light yet creamy. A decent attempt at this very hard style.
