COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

fiulijn (20493) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 16, 2012
Hazy dark amber color, medium head. The aroma is a bit dusty, chocolate. Good body, sweetish flavor of malt, and luckily just little vanilla. Correct bitterness.
Not clear what the target was here.

Aroma: Smelling of grain, bitter orange, honey and hay.
Appearance: A clear chestnut colored beer. A high tan head with some lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet brown bread, bitter orange marmalade and hay.
Palate: Medium low carbonation, a soft and sticky texture. A big body with a slight dry finish.
Overall: Well balanced, a bit on the sweet side. But sippable.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. (Vintage 2012) Reviewed 2012-11-14.

Bottle: Clear red colour, with a nice creamy head. Aroma is Smokey!?? sweet maltynes, some citrus, alcy,. Flavor had a smouth big bomb of caramelly, some vanilla, sweet maltynes, and the bitternes is in balanced, with flowery, citrus, and a nice alcy /fruity finish. Big body, long fruity/alcy finsh. Nice! But is it a Amerikan Strong Ale? reminds me moor than a Barlywine! Well done !!

Tjoxen (173) - SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2012
Pours dark copper with tanned head. Aroma of roasted malt, some vanilla and leather. Sweet taste of roasted malt, vanilla and ripe fruits. Feels a bit thick with soft carbonation. The finish is medium bitter. I think its a good brown ale and the alcohol feels well hidden even if you feel it in the finish.

olsvammel (7225) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 6, 2012
Bottle as a sample from the brewery. A bit weird and funky smell with ripe fruit. Better taste with vanilla, ripe fruit and a certain spiciness together with some caramel malt. I also get an aroma that reminds me of whole vanilla fruits. I find it hard to rate this, maybe it will improve after some time in storage.

Ktwse (4886) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2012
Pours brownish amber with minimal off-white head. Aroma is roasty, brown sugar, hints of vanilla and toffee, earth and maybe a hint of leather. Taste is sweet with caramel malt, sugar, vanilla and a long alcohol finish. Body is thick and creamy with a fair bit of carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
