Saison style top fermentation old brown beer. Its taste is remarkable, light and favourably combined to offer a tone that is both modestly sweetened and fruity, leaving the mouth with a refreshing feel as is constantly asked of it.

Bottle. Light light unclear medium amber red color with a average, frothy to creamy, good - fair lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, berry - cherry, cask wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. 33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a huge tan head. Toffee caramel and light yeast aroma, nice blend. Flavour starts caramel sweet. Mild yeast note to this. Goes into a light bitter and canesugarish sweetness. Ends with a mild lingering sweet yeast flavour.

An amber beer with a fine but disappearing caramel colored head. The aroma is sweet and rather spicy. The flavor is also sweet spicy but combined with notes of caramel. This beer is too sweet for my liking.

Bottle. Clear orange coloured with an off white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and fruits. Sweet flavour of caramel, fruits and hops with metallic notes.

Bottled (BBE 09/2005). Hazy orange colour, huge off-white fluffy head, leaves lace. Aroma is acidic fruit with herbs and also caramel. Flavour is caramellish, dark fruits, hops, grass and all the time an underlaying earthy note. Dry flowery hoppy finish.

Tap at Max’s. Copper color. Aroma of peanuts and creme brulee. Sweet flavor, lots of caramel, nutty edge. Strange but not terrible.

brown coloured ale, with amalty nose and a fruity sweet malt , nice full flav but would strugle to drink more than 1

omhper (25750) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 3, 2003
Bottled. Very far from the other saisons I've tried. Ruby colour. Deep fruity aroma. Sugary sweet, and completely dominated by crystalized sugar flavour which makes it one-dimensional and simply too sweet for me.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Light and refreshing start. Followed by some tanginess and a pleasant finish. Hard to describe but nice!

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2005
(Bottle 25 cl) Light brown with a small off-white head. Fruity, fresh slightly tart notes with a dry and rather hoppy finish. Also some metallic notes in the palate - more akin to for instance Rodenbach. Quenching indeed. 090594
