33 cl bottle. Dated 10/11/10, $4 at Binny’s, Nov ’10. Fizzy, fizzy pour, big head over a brownish-brassy body. Popping bubbles almost as noisy as Rice Krispies. Light malty smell with a hint of Belgian wheat or spice. Sips are effervescent as champagne. Taste is mild golden malts with a hint of roast. A little raspberry tart, but a happy, dry finish. I said happy, not hoppy, as there’s not a noticeable bitterness, at least that can be felt over the dryness. Tasty, well worth repeating.
Very weird, tastes and smells like an ashtray, too artificially sweet. There’s probably more to it but the ashtray really kills it for me. gripweed57 (2463) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUL 11, 2017
From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Saison Speciale Artisinal Belgian Ale". Clear orange copper color with champagne-like bubbles and a huge creamy yellowish head. Tart citrus hop aroma is subtle yet distinctive. Foretaste is bitter hops, almost astringent in nature. Midtaste becomes bittersweet. Finish is dry and spicy. Very bitter for the style. Brown color. Medium carbonation. Bready roasted aroma, some roasted tones. Tastes sweet, bready, a bit of roast, sourness. The sweet and sour gives this an orange juice quality. A bit too sweet for my taste, glad it has some acidity to balance that. Not too bad. erikaraeb (226) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 23, 2017
More of a brune-style than your typical saison. Malty and bread-y taste, roasted aromas. Tasty yet easily drinkable

Semi hazy, light brown liquid. Small head. Aroma of malt and iron. Light body, little bit carbonation. Taste is a bit sour and sweet. Mjp12 (1869) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2017
Definitely doesn’t look or taste like a saison . It’s a Belgian brown, with too much caramel sweetness for my taste. yy0pp (1521) - - JAN 19, 2017

Arôme caramel. Belle couleur rouge avec une faible mousse. Gout de caramel. biere sucrée. Pas mauvais comme bière. Nicolas_M (203) - BELGIUM - NOV 5, 2016
This must be a caramel turned into beer.
Aroma was weak but tested a bit late after opening the bottle. Taste is strong and not to sugary.
