Bottle, [email protected], Grobbendonk. Pours clear deep red with a large, fizzy off-white head. Aroma has sweet cherries, oak, dusty malts, red apple. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet caramel, fine balanced oaky tartness, light cherries, mild apple zest. Fairly dry finish. Fine.

(Draught at Delirium Hoppy Loft, Brussels, 17 May 2017) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, dried fruit and a slight acidity. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, tart fruit, black-currant, red fruit and a sweetish finish with a light acidity. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and fairly well balanced. Quite nice.
