Tastes like roasted hamei , and sugary aftertaste. Dark brown colour with beige spoam lux_edwards (306) - - MAY 26, 2014
I echo these coMments:500 ml bottle, poured into a lager glass. Color is clear amber-brown. Head is big and foamy and has a beige color. Forms some decent lacing. Smell is dominated by roasted malt. Taste is sweet, malty with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Body feels light and is well carbonated. Overall this is a decent romanian beer. Definitely the best dark one. Well balanced and drinkable. Pours dark brown with a dense medium-lasting beige head. Aroma is weak - hops and slightly sweet malt. Taste is bitter forward, but balanced by fair sweetness. Flavors are strong of slight hops and malt, with a gentle and somewhat citrusy sour tang. Some weak roasted notes. Mouth feel is watery with nice medium carbonation and strong tang in tongue from hops and carbonation. Ending is clean, but tang in tongue remains for a while. Overall, nicely balanced, not too heavy , and good to drink as part of a meal. Nice. MarkoNm (2880) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - MAY 7, 2014
Pours a clear light brown color, topped with a nice and solid tan colored head.
The aroma is mild but easy to pick up. Malts, biscuits and caramel can be felt.
The taste is strong, bitter with a bit of (unpleasant) alcohol taste, but it finishes with a nicely bitter and caramely finish.
A very decent beer of strong taste. ciocanelu (2853) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - APR 24, 2014

Brown in the glass with a nice beige head. The nose is dry-malty, sweet. The beer starts very watery and slightly roasted-sweetish. Not much flavour. The mainpart is malty, dry, sweetish and watery. So the aftertaste.
Easy to drink with only a slight bitterness. --> 7/12/8/7
Dark brown colour. Aroma of light roasted malts and caramel sweetness. Thin body. bytemesis (8976) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Can. Pours clear chestnut, small fizzy tan head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is light nutty, caramel, toffee. Flavor is similar, but harsh, burned, lightly smoky, unappealingly bitter, chemical. Medium body, flat carbonation. ectuohy27 (1223) - ESTONIA - DEC 22, 2013
Pretty good dark--relatively clean, largely a one-note hit of toasted nuts with a slightly caramelly sweet finish. Uncomplicated compared to the style, but refined compared to the average macro from the region for sure!
