First, a big thank you goes out to my buddy Brian for bringing me this back on his last trip to Romania. Those poor souls in Romania...ugh..some of the beers he’s brought back were good and others were just plain awful. This one was all that bad though. It suprised me with the level of hops that was found, with a bit of spicy hop note. The beer seemed overly attenuated, with a dry, chemical-like aftertaste. Almost no malt character, esp for a dunkel. Maybe the 7% comes from the extra sweetness that should be there? The beer looked like rusty rain water in my glass with a light tan frothy head.
Can in trade with ciocanelu, cheers Silviu! Pours a bright maroon brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, prune, raisin, bread and an edge of chocolate. Quite heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Not great but better than had been expected. Can from Eastern European shop, West Brom. Burgundy brown beer with large bubbly head. Aroma of brown bread and burnt malts. Taste is burnt malts, some hop bitterness, brown bread and dark toffee. Slightly sticky body. Decent. dnoaksson (827) - , SWEDEN - MAY 17, 2017
GiulianoCiolacu (3) - Pitești, ROMANIA - MAY 6, 2017 does not count
This is one of my favorite beers all time. The strong taste combined with the good quality beer makes from Silva a very good beer. moldovan9807 (176) - Oradea, ROMANIA - APR 21, 2017

Can. Pours dark ruby, beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, dried plums. Sweet. A bit too much for my taste, but tolerable. Taste: caramel, malt, dark fruit, resins. Finish is moderately bitter. Surprising. In a good way. SinH4 (4707) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - FEB 17, 2017
Can, thanks Simon! Clear dark ruby color with beige head. Aroma is rusty nails, caramel, brown malts. Taste is caramel, rusty nails, juicy dark malts, some gummibears. Oily mouthfeel.
